One library's trash another librarian's door decor...

Palomar College Librarians regularly comb their collections to keep them current. During my internship, they blessed me with the bounty of their obsolete business books. So I sliced and diced them and now they serve as an optical illusion of a library on my bedroom door. It may not look it in the picture here, but the illusion is great from the hallway.

Google launches Street View of SDSU

Google launches Street View of SDSU

Though you can't print it out for freshmen or others on this huge campus, it is quite scenic and mimics a walk around campus. If you're interested in attending the campus without traveling there, this provides a great preview. Librarians could improve the experience by tagging the buildings in the future!

Do you like it? Would you like your campus to be next? First, you need to put your organization on the map.
